Marc Kazlauskas will be the next president of Norwegian Cruise Line, taking the helm on Jan. 19.

Marc Kazlauskas
Kazlauskas has been CEO of host agency Avoya Travel since August and was previously president of the Frosch travel agency. While president of Frosch, Kazlauskas also was managing director at JPMorgan Chase.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings CEO Harry Sommer has been NCL's interim president since David Herrera's departure in August.
Kazlauskas' hire at NCL marks his return to the supplier side of travel. Kazlauskas started his travel career with Orient Lines. He spent 12 years as president of the U.S. division of tour operator Insight Vacations. He also held senior executive positions at tour operators Tauck and Trafalgar.
Sommer called Kazlauskas "a proven leader with deep commercial expertise and an unwavering commitment to the guest experience."
Sommer had recently described the leadership shakeup as happening at a pivotal time of growth for NCL that was a good time to "change direction a little bit with leadership."
