Norwegian Cruise Line elevated Katina Athanasiou to the
newly created position of chief sales officer, reporting to Norwegian president
Previously, Athanasiou had been Norwegian's senior vice
president of charters, meetings, incentives and events. Prior to that, she had
the same role at Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Norwegian said that Camille Olivere, currently senior vice
president of sales and trade partnerships, will now directly lead Norwegian
Cruise Line's efforts with strategic accounts, "reinvigorating the
Partners First philosophy to showcase the strengths of the company to some of
its most significant partners."
