The second ship in Oceania Cruises' Allura class will be called the Allura and is expected to enter service in spring 2025.

The 1,200-passenger Allura will be a sister ship to the Vista, which is scheduled to make its debut this May. Oceania president Frank A. Del Rio said the Vista is sold out for 2023 and expects the Allura will be "equally as popular with guests."

"Named to reflect the excitement of starting an immersive new journey, Allura will entice guests to discover some of the world's most captivating locations, enjoying the freedom of exploration while sailing the open seas," Oceania said in a statement.

Like the Vista, the Allura will have Ember, an upscale restaurant serving reimagined American classics, and the health-focused Aquamar Kitchen.

Fincantieri is building the Allura at its shipyard in Sestri Ponente, Italy.
