Paul Gauguin to depart Regent Seven Seas fleet

Regent Seven Seas Cruises said 2009 will be the farewell season for the Paul Gauguin.

The 332-passenger ship will leave Regent Seven Seas’ fleet in January 2010 upon completion of a management agreement with Paul Gauguin Shipping Ltd. (PGSL), the vessel’s owner.

The Paul Gauguin is scheduled to undergo renovations before its final year of cruising French Polynesia for Regent. The ship will receive new upholstery and carpeting, and 26 cabins will get private balconies.

PGSL said it will soon announce Paul Gauguin reservations and sales information for French Polynesia/South Pacific cruises in January 2010 and beyond.
