Princess Cruises said it will convert some of its mini-suites to an upgraded “Club Class” by adding a package of amenities, including an exclusive dining area within the main dining room.

Club Class mini-suites will come with priority check-in and disembarkation, two half-bottles of wine (one red, one white) and terrycloth bathrobes. They will be among the first to get the new Princess Luxury Bed, which the line is installing fleetwide over the next few years.

Princess said Club Class guests will get expedited seating in their own area of the dining room served by a dedicated wait staff and delineated by special table linens. There will be exclusive menu options and table-side preparations.

Princess didn’t specify the premium for Club Class or say what percentage of mini-suites would carry the designation. The service debuts in December on select ships, with the balance receiving it in 2017, Princess said.
