Workers at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany have laid the keel for the Destiny, which is scheduled for delivery in 2025.

Disney said guests will encounter heroes and villains from stories such as "The Lion King," "Hercules" and "One Hundred and One Dalmatians," in spaces, experiences and entertainment.

To embody the theme, Disney unveiled artwork for the bow of the Disney Destiny -- Minnie Mouse striking a valiant pose in a heroic ensemble. The artwork is portrayed on a keel coin for the Destiny.

The first two Wish-class ships are the Disney Wish (entered service in 2022) and the Disney Treasure (debuting Dec. 21, 2024).

Also scheduled to be delivered in 2025 is the Disney Adventure, which will sail in Singapore. Disney acquired the 208,000-gross-ton ship from liquidators in late 2022 after the former owner, Genting Hong Kong, went bankrupt.
