This month's #TWchats on Twitter, Travel Weekly's monthly chat on Twitter, was all about what's new in cruise. Joining the chat were several major cruise lines, as well as travel professionals, consumers and social media bigwigs, all tweeting about which new ship they wanted to try (Regal? Quantum? Norwegian Getaway?), which cruise destination was an their radar or which onboard restaurant was next on their dining hit list.
And there was more cruise activity beyond #TWchats: The christening of the #regalprincess adjacent to the #CruiseWorld conference meant several hashtags based on events in one specific corner of Port Everglades.
The fourth question of #TWchats was: "If you were on a cruise right now, which spot on the cruise ship would we find you?" which generated several tweets about cruisers' choice spots. A sample follows:
