Virgin Voyages unveiled an annual pass, enabling guests to sail on any ship for an entire year. The cruise line called the pass an industry first.

Annual passholders will be able to sail on any ship on any voyage, valid for one year from the selected date. The purchaser can choose from the following start dates in 2025: Jan. 1, Feb. 1, March 1 and April 1. Virgin said it will sell a limited number of annual passes.

The pass costs $120,000 for two people and includes a stay in a Sea Terrace cabin, excluding taxes and fees for voyages booked. Travel advisors earn a commission of $10,000 on sales of the annual pass.

Buyers are automatically enrolled in Virgin Voyages' Sailing Club and receive Deep Blue Extra perks like premium WiFi, laundry service, priority boarding, $100 bar tab credit and two specialty coffees per day.

Virgin Voyages says the pass can be bought with Bitcoin, making it the first cruise product to accept a cryptocurrency payment option.

All cancellations or changes to a booked eligible sailing under the pass must be made at least seven days before the voyage start date to avoid any penalties.

Earlier, this year, Virgin Voyages introduced a summer pass marketed toward remote workers. Virgin Group founder Richard Branson said the summer pass "has evolved into something even more special."

"Now, [guests] can jump aboard any of our ships, across an endless variety of exciting destinations for an entire year," Branson said. "We're offering unlimited opportunities for adventure in a way that has never been done in cruising before."
