LAS VEGAS -- Paris-based Groupe Partouche has joined Boccardi
Capital Systems, Inc.'s (BCS) roster of investors for a new Las
Vegas Strip property.
Groupe Partouche is a leading French casino operator that is
operating or developing properties in Belgium, Morocco, the
Caribbean, Romania and Tunisia. BCS, a Las Vegas-based development
company, currently is scouting sites for the construction of a
resort hotel, casino and entertainment property. Details on the
project are expected to be announced next year.
BCS already has hired Arthur Andersen and the Economic Research
Associates to complete feasibility reports, which are anticipated
in January. HNTB Corp., a leading architecture, engineering and
planning firm, has been retained for property design concepts.
Perini Building Co., which has built such hotel casino projects as
the Luxor, Harrah's Las Vegas and Paris-Las Vegas, has signed on as
the general contractor.
