ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. -- Two Isrotel properties are expected to open
in the Red Sea resort area next year, according to the chain's
North America representative.
A 343-unit Royal Gardens Suites is to be located next to
Isrotel's flagship property, the 370-room Royal Beach Resort &
Convention Center, on Eilat's north shore.
Also, a 300-room Water Gardens hotel is being built a short
distance from other Isrotel properties, the seaside promenade and
the beach, according to Sara Sheps of the Israel Tourism Center in
Rochelle Park, which represents domestic hospitality groups Isrotel
Hotels and the Kibbutz Hotels Chain.
Isrotel already operates the 418-room King Solomon's Palace, the
256-room inclusive Lagoona Hotel, the 327-room Sport Hotel and the
172-room Riviera Apartment Hotel.
Earlier this year, the chain opened the 207-room Isrotel Tower
Jerusalem in a restored 1906 building located near the
International Convention Center.
Isrotel's most luxurious location is the 126-room Carmel Forest
Spa Resort, which is on a mountaintop near Haifa.
In Mitzpei Ramon, in the Negev Desert on the edge of one of the
world's largest natural craters, Isrotel operates the Ramon Inn,
with 96 apartments and suites.
The chain's 90-unit Isrotel Tower Hotel in Tel Aviv is a
Hawthorne All Suite property that caters to business travelers.
Isrotel has more than 2,000 rooms, suites and apartments in
Israel.
The Kibbutz Hotels Chain group has 2,450 rooms in 60 properties
run by the Israeli cooperative communities, known in plural as
kibbutzim.
It also offers a bed-and-breakfast option called Kibbutz Country
Lodging, which is a network of 1,000 rooms in more than 20
