The Jumeirah Essex House, overlooking Central Park, created the Picnic in the Park plan for stays through Sept. 3.


The plan covers deluxe suite accommodations with views of the park; breakfast; a one-hour carriage ride through the park; two tickets to the Museum of the City of New York; and a picnic basket filled with linens, plates, silverware and lunch for two.

The package is priced from $1,100 per night, double, exclusive of taxes and service charges.

The Mandarin Oriental, Prague is promoting its Spring Fling package for stays through June 30.

The plan is about $800 per night, double, with a two-night minimum stay required.

The plan covers overnight accommodations in a deluxe or executive one-bedroom suite; a five-hour charter of a private yacht to view Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks, including a dinner buffet and full bar; roundtrip, private limousine transfers to the pier with champagne; and breakfast for two.

Rail Europe is discounting one-way, full-fare tickets on all routes of the Thalys train, which connects Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.

The dolphin-themed plan includes oceanfront studio accommodations and the chance to be a trainer for a day at Gulf World Marine Park. Guests will shadow trainers and appear on stage during the park's dolphin show. Guest trainers also will receive a Gulf World Marine Park trainer T-shirt, a 5-by-7 photo taken with the dolphins and the chance to swim with the dolphins.

Santa Fe's Eldorado Hotel & Spa is offering motorcycle riders the opportunity to take a Harley for a spin.

The Hop on the Hog package, valid until Oct. 31, is priced from $1,375 per room for a three-night stay. The plan includes a Harley-Davidson rental from the Thunderbird Harley-Davidson/Buell dealer as well as suggested routes in Santa Fe.

In addition, the property is offering the Santa Fe Summer Gas Rebate package to help take the sting out of the high prices.
