Brown Hotels opened the Brown Beach House Croatia in Trogir, a Unesco World Heritage Site along Croatia's Adriatic Coast. The ancient harbor town is a popular yachting destination located about three miles from the Split airport.
The 25-room property, designed by Amsterdam-based designer Saar Zafrir, features a full-service spa and a design theme full of nods to the 1950s. The hotel is located within a restored factory building that once housed the Duhanka tobacco storage facility.
Accommodations include one- and two-bedroom suites with a mix of classic, vintage and contemporary furnishings.
Other amenities include an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the Adriatic Sea, a seafood restaurant called Cartina, a cocktail bar and a beach club with private beach access.
The Brown Beach House Croatia is adding 24 luxury suites in summer 2017.
