The new, five-star Toscana Resort Castelfalfi, located between Florence, Pisa and Siena in Italy, is set to open March 31.
Located in an 800-year-old village on a 2,700-acre estate, the 120-room property will feature a fine dining restaurant,
La Via del Sale; La Spa with saunas and a steam bath; a fitness center; two bars, the poolside Il Giglio Blu and the lobby bar, Ecru; and meeting facilities.
Resort activities will include a 27-hole golf course; an 865-acre natural reserve for hunting, game-watching, horseback riding and foraging; and wine and olive oil tastings from the resort's on-site vineyard and olive tree groves. The estate also features a medieval village with shops, a castle and facilities for weddings, cooking classes and special events.
