Monteverdi Tuscany is undergoing an extensive expansion.

The Monteverdi Tuscany will remain closed through July 2021 while it undergoes an extensive expansion.

The 18-room boutique property in the medieval Italian village of Castiglioncello del Trinoro, will add a Retreat and Meeting Center for corporate and wellness events, a casual restaurant, four luxury view suites and a playground.

The project will also include the transformation of the Spa at Monteverdi into the Monteverdi Regenerative Clinic, which will offer wellness treatments.

The property will retain its Oreade and Enoteca restaurants.

Monteverdi's founder Michael Cioffi is teaming up with Rome-based designer Ilaria Miani to expand on and enhance the property and the village.

In the meantime, a weekly digital musical performance series, La Bella Musica di Monteverdi, will be available throughout the summer on the Monteverdi Tuscany Instagram account, Facebook page and website.
