IL Tornabuoni, a new five-star independent luxury hotel, is poised to open this spring in Florence.
Located along Via Tornabuoni, steps from the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River, the property is located in the 12th-century Palazzo Minerbetti.
Comprised of 62 guestrooms and suites over four floors, IL Tornabuoni is part of the AG Hotels collection, which includes 11 five-star and four-star boutique hotels in Florence and Rome.
"Given the experience of this past year, we must rethink the future and find inspiration in a new Italian renaissance, a period in which tourism makes a difference," said Andrea Girolami, founder and CEO of AG Group.
The hotel's interiors were designed by Milan-based architect Andrea Auletta and offer a blend of modern and Renaissance design elements.
Amenities include IL Magnifico Restaurant & Bistrot, overseen by executive chef Massimiliano Mandozzi; the Lucie Gourmet rooftop restaurant, with a terrace overlooking the city; and IL Magnifico Cafe & Champagne Bar, located on the main floor.
