Sommerro House is set to open in Oslo in September 2022.
Situated in the 1930s headquarters of Oslo Lysverker, the city's electrical company, the property will feature 246 rooms, including a villa with 15 rooms and suites.
The Norwegian firm LPO Architects and London- and New York-based studio GrecoDeco are spearheading the design project.
The Sommerro neighborhood is itself undergoing a transformation, with a number of restaurants and bars, a library and a small private cinema in the works.
