Small Luxury Hotels of the World added two Scandinavian boutique properties to its European portfolio.

The 23-room Storfjord Hotel in Skodje, Norway, features a traditional log cabin style, handcrafted from Norwegian wood, updated with trendy, designer decor elements.

Many of the guestrooms feature fireplaces or private balconies, and the restaurant showcases local cuisine and its own brewed ale.

Rooms are priced from $248 double, per night.

The 37-room Dorsia Hotel and Restaurant in Gothenburg, Sweden, features a French belle epoque style, with classic art and antiques.

The property is centrally located, within walking distance of some of Gothenburg's main attractions, including the Old Post House, the Botanical Garden, the Opera House and the Museum of Art.
Rooms cost from $300 double, per night.

Commissions range from 10% to 20% via all SLH booking channels.
