The Newman, the first hotel from international hospitality management company Kinsfolk & Co, is preparing for its debut this summer.
The property, located in the Fitzrovia section of central London, where the culture of Bloomsbury meets the style of Soho, will feature 81 rooms and suites, a European brasserie, a cocktail bar and a wellness floor.
The hotel was designed by London-based Pernille Lind and Richy Almond of Lind + Almond, mixing Victorian and art deco elements, including images of Nancy Cunard, a noted bohemian poet and activist of the 1920s, and photographs of locals from the Fitzrovia neighborhood.
Guestrooms feature contemporary wood and steel tones and custom tiles and stone-carved vanities in the bathrooms. The Penthouse Suite has a private terrace with views of the city skyline.
Other amenities include the Brasserie Adeline, open from breakfast through late-evening dining; the Gambit Bar, designed to evoke the spirit of a hidden den; and the Wellness floor, which offers hot and cold spa treatments, a salt therapy room, a hydrotherapy pool, a fully equipped gym and yoga classes.
