The third annual DUCO Travel Summit in Italy, originally slated for March 30 to April 3, has been rescheduled for March 15 to 19 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event, which takes place every year in Florence, is sponsored by Toscana Promozione, Tuscany's regional tourism office, in collaboration with the Helvetia & Bristol Firenze, the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, the St. Regis Florence and the Westin Excelsior Florence.
The summit is expected to draw more than 200 Italian hotels and destination management companies to meet with English-speaking travel advisors who specialize in Italy.
The event will focus on reinforcing the Italian hospitality industry and uplifting Italian tourism.
The theme, DUCO Appetito, will celebrate the country's gastronomy and will include a dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chefs.
