The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort announced the renovation of its Rainbow Tower, aptly named for the colorful 286-foot-high rainbow mosaic running down its sides. It's been seen widely in TV episodes of "Hawaii Five-0," "Magnum, P.I.," and "NCIS: Hawaii."
"The Rainbow Tower holds a special place in the hearts of both our community and visitors — it's a Waikiki landmark and a source of pride for us," said Debi Bishop, managing director, Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. "This renovation allows us to create a fresh and modern guest experience while staying true to the tower's iconic legacy."
The renovation updated guestrooms, hallways and amenities, and includes works by Hawaii-based artists. The redesigned guestrooms are now named Rainbow Kai, and the first group of completed rooms are already available for booking.
