The 5th annual Kauai Poke Fest has added a second day. The festival, being held June 13 and 14, will now spend two days celebrating the famous Hawaii dish.

The event kicks off with a Poke Masters' Table Celebrity Chef Experience, hosted by Chef Sam Choy. A limited number of diners will enjoy dishes and drink pairings at a cost of $150 per person.

The next day is the Poke Fest, priced from $100, and including a Kauai-made farmers' marketplace, the opening ceremony with live music and the poke competition, voted on by a panel of attendees and celebrity judges.

"The Kauai Poke Fest has become a beloved tradition for the community, celebrating Hawaii's cuisine and the creativity of local chefs and those traveling from afar," Aaron Bambling, general manager of Koloa Landing Resort, said in a news release.

"From the variety of inventive poke dishes to live entertainment and cultural experiences, guests can immerse themselves in the flavors and hospitality found only in Hawaii," he continued. "This year, we are expanding participation to 30 competitors and introducing an exclusive and intimate celebrity chef experience."
