Skybar Waikiki, slated to open during the spring of 2014, is a 9,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor modern lounge and tapas bar that features an extensive open-air lanai bordered by seamless glass railings and views of Diamond Head Crater and Waikiki Beach.

“Skybar Waikiki will be a unique sensory experience to capture limitless views,
refreshing trade winds and feel the pulsating vibes of Waikiki,” Darren Seu, the venue’s vice president, said in a statement.

The new lounge is part of a major modernization project at the Waikiki Business Plaza and Waikiki Shopping Plaza, located at the corner of Kalakaua and Seaside avenues, that also includes the recent opening of new Victoria’s Secret and Armani Exchange retail outlets and the coming openings of Hawaii’s first H&M and Love Culture stores.
