Charlene Nakamura has been named the new complex director of sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Waikiki.

Nakamura is now directing sales efforts at Starwood’s four properties in Waikiki: the Sheraton Waikiki; the Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort; the Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa; and the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.
A 31-year visitor industry veteran, Nakamura served most recently as the director of sales and marketing at the Royal Hawaiian, a position she started in 2013. She also worked previously for the Kahala Hotel & Resort on Oahu as well as Marriott Resorts Hawaii.
