AIC Hotel Group and Camp Woodward have teamed up to launch a new concept in experiential travel with Woodward Riviera Maya and Woodward Punta Cana.
Both Woodward facilities will debut in 2017 at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, where guests will be able to participate in many of the activities offered at the original Camp Woodward, as well as the chance to snowboard and snow-ski indoors in the Caribbean and Mexico.
Woodward Riviera Maya and Woodward Punta Cana will offer a variety of programs to kids and teens catering to all skill levels, as well as opportunities for adult guests and team-building activities within groups or meetings. This dedicated area invites guests to participate in the first-ever indoor snowboard and snow ski progression training experience on Woodward's specially designed ramps and training tools in the Caribbean and Mexico.
The facilities will also feature skateboarding and BMX, scooter, parkour, cheer and hip-hop dance programs and amenities, trampoline program, dry-land snowboarding and skiing and a digital media program. The programs will be instructor-based and available to hotel guests with resort credit, while nonguests will be invited to participate for a fee.
Plans for each facility include more than 20,000 square feet of equipment and skateboarding/BMX parks, tumbling floor and foam pit, snack bar, second-floor viewing promenade, where family and friends can watch the action, and a DJ booth at the top level.
