Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita will host its annual Catrinas Fest, a three-day culinary and cultural celebration of Dia de Muertos, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2. The event will feature guest chefs, traditional rituals, family programming and beachfront gatherings inspired by the marigold flower, a symbol of remembrance.
The festivities begin with Tertulia Night on Oct. 31, a six-course dinner at Dos Catrinas restaurant prepared by guest and in-house chefs, paired with cocktails, wine and live music. The evening also includes a Mez Bar takeover and an outdoor screening of "The Book of Life" animated film for families.
On Nov. 1, the Cuevas Beach Celebration will showcase the Madre Tierra Barbacoa Ritual, followed by a buffet dinner, live chef stations and cultural activities such as face painting and flower crown workshops. A children's after-party will run concurrently.
The weekend concludes on Nov. 2 with a barbacoa and Pan de Muerto breakfast at Dos Catrinas. Additional programming includes artisanal workshops, traditional offerings and themed children's activities through the resort's Kids For All Seasons program.
