The Yucatan International Convention Center, Powered by Samsung, will open its doors in March 2018 in the capital, Merida.

As construction is scheduled to be completed by year-end, development of a tourist corridor continues, with more than 15 new hotels planned, along with a retail plaza and cultural center to meet an anticipated 10% increase in demand for meeting services. The center marks Samsung's first business alliance in Latin America. The sustainable venue has 13 events confirmed so far for 2018.

The ICC will feature a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate groups of all sizes. The main hall has capacity to seat 6,000, but can be divided into singular rooms for 1,000 attendees each.
