One of Mazatlan's boutique hotels, Casa Lucila, is offering a slew of packages for the end of the year and into 2017.

For Carnaval, one of the best celebrations in Mazatlan that takes place February 23-28, Casa Lucila is offering a Carnaval Package. The package includes accommodations for two, two welcome cocktails, and two tickets to:

• King of Joy Coronation (Thursday Feb. 23)
• Floral Games (Friday, Feb. 24)
• Carnival Queen Coronation (Saturday, Feb. 25)
• Bad Moon Burning (Saturday, Feb. 25)
• Banda at Olas Altas Beach (Monday, Feb. 27)

Additional perks include admission for two to Casa Lucila's Carnaval rooftop party on the 25th, and a Carnaval King & Queen Treatment for two at Lucila's Piccolino Spa, including a 60-minute massage.

The package must be booked two weeks in advance for stay dates Feb. 20 to March 1. Rates start at $358 per night.

Casa Lucila is also offering a package for Girlfriend Getaways, including overnight accommodation, a private beach yoga session for up to six, a $40 daily F&B credit, a private cooking class at the restaurant, and a trip to Plaza Machado to stroll the shops and merchant stalls.

Must be booked two weeks in advance, with rates starting at $359 per night.
