Velas Resorts is readying for the debut of Grand Velas Los Cabos, and with it its spa, all which will open later this year.
The spa is going to be a destination in itself, with two levels and 35,000 square feet of space. There will be 16 treatment rooms, some with water view, Wellness Suites with personal juice bars and treatments that are inspired by Mexican traditions. There will also by a hydrotherapy circuit, kids' and teens' treatments, bridal suite, salon and barber shop.
The spa menu offers more than 20 treatments organized into Ceremonies. The Ceremony of Mexico features a fusion of flavors and aromas, like the Blue Agave Candle Massage, Blue Agave Exfoliation, Tequila Cream Massage, Ancient Stone Massage and Chocolate Wrap.
Included in any treatment of 50 minutes or ore will be a seven-step hydrotherapy circuit with a eucalyptus-scented steam room with chromotherapy, polar pool, aromatherapy sensory shower, sauna, Jacuzzi and multi-sensory pool. The central pool has hydro elements like powerful massaging faucets for neck and back and bubble beds, and carved-stone chaises with jets.
Six two-level Wellness Suites are also on tap, with lofted ceilings and wellness amenities like Life Fitness recline bikes, spa concierge, vitamin C sprinkler, crudite minibar, aromatherapy kit and more.
