Due to Covid-19, this year's Tianguis Turistico was not held in March as scheduled. Instead, Mexico's ministry of tourism announced this month that the 45th edition of the travel trade event would be held in Merida next March, and that the first Digital Tianguis Turistico would take place online in September 2020.
More details on the updated format will be revealed in the coming months. The dates for the in-person events will be March 21 to 24.
Meanwhile, the second edition of the Tianguis Turstico de Pueblos Magicos will be held in San Luis Potosi from Nov. 26 to 29.
