Wilderness Safaris has recently opened the Bisate Lodge, a new establishment next to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, offering views toward the Karisimbi, Bisoke and Mikeno volcanoes.
Situated close to the Kinigi district, Bisate offers a convenient base from which to enjoy gorilla conservation experiences. The lodge features just six forest villas, each comprising a bedroom, reception area and bathroom.
The Bisate experience is based around Wilderness Safaris 4Cs sustainability ethos of Commerce, Community, Culture and Conservation. The lodge offers a pioneering reforestation project, which has already seen nearly 15,000 indigenous trees planted as well as community engagement, cultural appropriateness and exposure and ecofriendly operational systems.
