Travel Weekly's Magellan Awards is now accepting entries for 2026. Every segment of the industry has an opportunity to share their creativity, ingenuity and success.
"Last year marked yet another record-breaking year for the Magellan Awards. We were truly impressed by the quality of submissions from every corner of the industry. The remarkable level of creativity exhibited by travel professionals continues to motivate and inspire us. The standard for demonstrating excellence in product innovation, design, exceptional service, marketing, and beyond has never been higher," said Mary Pat Sullivan, executive vice president of marketing and partnerships for Travel Weekly and Northstar Travel Group.
The Magellan Awards honor outstanding design, marketing and services in a broad range of industry segments including Airlines and Airports, Cruise Lines, Ground Transportation, Hospitality, Travel Services, Travel Destinations, Travel Advisors, Travel Agencies and Tour Operators. Travel organizations as well as marketing and PR agencies have the opportunity to be recognized for their efforts. Several new categories have been added for this year to reflect the ever-changing industry.
In addition, Travel Weekly is excited to announce the newly redesigned Magellan Awards website. The updated site features a modern design, improved navigation and enhanced resources to make it easier than ever for entrants and industry professionals to explore the program.
The Magellan Awards are judged and overseen by a one-of-a-kind panel of top travel professionals representing accomplished leaders from throughout the industry. In determining winners, entries do not compete with one another, instead they are judged against a standard of excellence developed over the long history of Travel Weekly. To uphold this high standard of excellence, a category may have multiple winners, or may have no winners at all.
The early bird entry deadline is May 15. To learn more and enter, visit www.travelweeklyawards.com.
