The deadline for Travel Weekly's Magellan Awards has been extended to August 14. Every segment of the industry has an opportunity to share their creativity, ingenuity and success.

The Magellan Awards honor outstanding design, marketing and services in a broad range of industry segments including Airlines and Airports, Cruise Lines, Ground Transportation, Hospitality, Travel Services, Travel Destinations, Travel Advisors, Travel Agencies, and Tour Operators. Travel organizations as well as marketing and public relations agencies have the opportunity to be recognized for their efforts. Several new categories were added this year to reflect the ever-changing industry.
The Magellan Awards are judged and overseen by a panel of top industry leaders from throughout every segment of travel. In determining winners, entries do not compete with one another, instead they are judged against a standard of excellence developed over the long history of Travel Weekly. To uphold this high standard of excellence, a category may have multiple winners, or may have no winners at all.
