The Bellagio is remodeling its 2,568 rooms with upgraded amenities.
The Gettys Group of Chicago and the MGM Resorts International Design
Group said the rooms at the Strip property were redesigned to reflect trends in sophisticated,
contemporary travel. The Bellagio's famed fountains helped inspire the refresh, along with water, nature and the colors of sunrise and sunset. The first collection of rooms will be available for guests beginning in April, and the remodeling will continue through the summer.
Units in the Premier King Room category have a blue palette that evokes the sky just before sunrise, and the Premier Two Queen Rooms have yellow tones inspired by the sunset.
The new designs include custom elements near the bed and the TV media center, a large closet, an activity table and two seating nooks. Natural stones, including granite and a variety of marbles, adorn the bathrooms.
Instead of a traditional bathtub, units will feature an oversize shower with a doorless entry. Backlit, interlocking mirrors encircled by mother of pearl illuminate the dual-sink granite vanity.
