AdventureSmith Explorations will open its 2018 Alaska cruise season several weeks earlier than normal, bringing additional vessels to the state while launching new land and sea routes.

The company's new eight-day Glacier Bay National Park Adventure Cruise makes its first departure on April 14. While traveling on the 60-passenger Wilderness Adventurer, guests spend three days exploring the park and looking for bears, moose, wolves and other wildlife.

While traveling between Seattle and Juneau, AdventureSmith's new 15-day Alaska's Inside Passage & San Juans Cruise spends a full day inside Glacier Bay in addition to visiting Misty Fjords National Monument, Petersburg, Haines and other ports. The new 18-day Great National Parks of Alaska itinerary spotlights Glacier Bay, Kenai Fjords and Denali national parks, plus other land and sea highlights, beginning in late May 2018.

Several cruise and air discounts are available to passengers who book 2018 tours by the end of this year. For information on AdventureSmith's Alaska tours, visit www.adventuresmithexplorations.com/alaska.
