Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary (ARS) announced this month that it has acquired Juneau's Alaska Zipline Adventures.

No major changes are planned for Alaska Zipline Adventures' summer 2018 season. As in the past, visitors can expect access to the treehouse platforms, suspension bridge, ax-throwing experiences, lodge facilities and other amenities.

"This change in ownership will not affect the zipline experience. All of the features that customers know and love will still be available," said Brien Salazar, co-founder of Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary and CEO and president of Taquan Air. "ARS is committed to carrying on the same caliber of service and unique approach to ziplining that Alaska Zipline Adventures is known for."

Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary already owns and operates zipline courses in Ketchikan, Bear Creek and Juneau through its company, Alaska Canopy Adventures.
