The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is celebrating the Chinese Year of the Ox through March 6.
Each element of "A Season of Love" represents prosperity, strength and tenacity in the Lunar New Year, a spokesman said. Four scenes have messages of love for nature; commitment; tradition; and children and travel.
"This beautiful Lunar New Year display is specially designed to honor the Year of the Ox, focus on love and evoke inspiration in the new year," designer Ed Libby said. "This year, perhaps more than ever, we can all use an added dose of inspiration and love."
"A Season of Love" is designed with feng shui, the art of using surroundings to attract harmony, balance and positive life energy.
Two Chinese Foo Dog water fountains in a garden ward off negative energy and welcome positivity. Jade medallions, created with 3-D printers, hang over the bed, symbolizing prosperity, good luck and success.
The Jade Pavilion, flanked by a Bonsai tree and a willow tree, features shrubs, metallic cattail plants and artistic copper Bonsai tree rain fountains with hand-stamped leaves. Two magpie birds soar over the bed's floral arrangements.
Two golden oxen stand atop a red and gold bridge running the length of the East Bed. Traditionally, the ox is known to be diligent, trustworthy and strong, symbolizing strength to overcome challenges.
The North Bed pays tribute to children and travel. Banyan trees and flowing water surround a tall flower pagoda. Red lanterns are suspended from the ceiling, while figures of children created from fresh-cut flowers celebrate their blessings below.
The Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is free to the public and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
