Bobby Flays Mesa Grill opens on The Strip

LAS VEGAS -- Celebrity chef Bobby Flay opened Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace, his first restaurant outside New York.

The nearly 9,000-square-foot eatery, which opened in early October, can accommodate 200 people in the main dining area and 50 people in its private dining room; an additional 28 seats are available at the bar and lounge, where the full menu is available to guests wishing to dine there.

The restaurant, which was designed by David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group, includes a huge rotisserie that towers 20 feet above the dining room and crowns a giant grill and quesadilla oven.

In addition to its Southwestern fare, Mesa Grill's offerings include a tequila and wine program.

The restaurant serves lunch Mondays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner is offered daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Reservations, which are recommended, can be made by calling (702) 731-7731. Group reservations for 16 or more guests can be arranged by phoning (702) 731-7845.
