Caspian's Cocktails & Caviar, a live rock music speakeasy and lounge, has opened at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The Clique Hospitality venue replaces the legendary Cleopatra's Barge, its floating dance floor a tradition at the resort since the 1970s.
Caspian's rock-influenced drink menu includes Ruby Riff, a blend of vanilla vodka, passion fruit syrup, lime juice, cream and bitters. Chilled vodkas can be paired with caviar and other selections. The Whale, for instance, is two ounces of Imperial Golden Osetra caviar and a bottle of Dom Perignon. The Royal Flight is six vodka shots paired with six caviar bumps.
The art deco design, by Celano Design Studio Co., includes a 16-foot ceiling with a chandelier, golden accents and oversize couches.
A hidden entrance behind the caviar bar leads to a stage that features rock 'n' roll acts nightly. Every Thursday, guests will be invited to take the mic and perform with a full band.
The 1,100-square-foot cocktail lounge seats 50 guests, and the 2,300-square-foot live music speakeasy accommodates almost 100.
Caspian's cocktail lounge will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily, with the kitchen closing at 10 p.m. The live music speakeasy will be open from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays.
