Disney Destinations is gearing up to celebrate travel advisors again next month in honor of Travel Advisor Appreciation Day on May 7 with its Travel Advisor Appreciation Station in Disney's Animal Kingdom. A limited number of free park tickets are also up for grabs.
The appreciation station will be located at Upcountry Landing near the "Feathered Friends in Flight" show throughout the month of May. Open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the station is exclusively open to U.S. and Canadian travel advisors with valid agency IATA or CLIA identification.
There, advisors can enjoy refreshments and the shade, take a rest and chat with Disney Destinations' Travel Agency Sales team.
New this year, advisors can register for a complimentary one-day ticket to Animal Kingdom for themselves and up to two guests. Disney Destinations encouraged advisors to register early for their complimentary tickets, as limited numbers are available each day. Advisors can request tickets for one day in May.
"It's one more way we're saying thank you for your hard work, passion and dedication as you deliver unforgettable vacation experiences to your clients," Disney Destinations said in a post on DisneyTravelAgents.com.
Register for the Travel Advisor Appreciation Station
Travel advisors were encouraged to register for the Travel Advisor Appreciation Station starting on Tuesday, April 8, at 2 p.m. ET when an updated story with registration details is posted. In doing so, they will also be able to request complimentary tickets. To register, advisors should use their Disney Travel Agents website login.
Advisors visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in May will also have access to limited time deals at some Disney Springs dining, shopping and entertainment locations. More details are forthcoming.
Disney Destinations hasn't forgotten its West Coast advisors, either. The organization said a Travel Advisor Appreciation Station is coming to the Disneyland Resort from June 6 through June 8. Using their own theme park admission, advisors can enjoy the lounge filled with treats, the sales team and some surprises.
