Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is set to reopen on March 7.
The park has been closed since the coronavirus crisis first shut down theme parks last March.
When Blizzard Beach reopens, as is the case at Disney's theme parks in Orlando, it will be subject to new health and safety protocols like reduced capacity, temperature screenings, physical distancing and face coverings, Disney said.
Disney will require guests to wear face masks in designated areas, including the park's entrance and exit, retail areas and food and beverage ordering areas. They will not be required on waterslides or while swimming. As is the case at its theme parks, guests can remove face coverings when eating or drinking, but they must be stationary and physically distanced.
Unlike at Disney's theme parks, right now, guests are not required to make a reservation to visit Blizzard Beach, but the park will be subject to closure based on factors like weather and capacity.
One-day waterpark tickets with a blackout period from My 29-Oct. 3 start at $64 plus tax for adults and $58 plus tax for children 3-9. Tickets with no blackout period start at $69 plus tax for adults and $63 plus tax for children 3-9.
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, the other waterpark in Disney's Orlando complex, remains closed.
