The second floor of the Front Yard at the Ellis Island Hotel, Casino & Brewery will be transformed into a kitschy, midcentury tiki bar June 3 to July 4.
A 15-foot swordfish greets guests, and staff in Hawaiian-themed attire will serve tropical favorites such as a teriyaki chicken burger and coconut shrimp.
Ten island-themed specialty drinks, beer cocktails and Ellis Island's spin on tiki classics will be offered. Brunch and dinner menus will be available.
Guests can play at two blackjack tables and slot machines in the lounge area by the Terrace Bar.
"We can't wait for the launch of the Island at Ellis," said Christina Ellis, Ellis Island's director of marketing. "We have really enjoyed decorating and transforming the restaurant, and we knew now was the perfect time to take it to the next level."
The bar will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturdays and Sundays; from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays; and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.
Reservations are available through OpenTable.
The Front Yard at Ellis Island, just east of the Strip, is a two-story indoor/outdoor beer garden with retractable ceiling shades, expansive windows and Instagram-worthy views.
