The Medici Cafe & Terrace at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas has introduced a Farm-to-Table dining experience available for breakfast and dinner. With a focus on fresh, regional ingredients, the farm-to-table offering complements the restaurant's existing menu of Italian specialties and prime steaks.
The weekend breakfast buffet features omelet and waffle stations as well as all-natural breakfast meats, smoked salmon, nut-grain breads, artisan cheeses, yogurts, cereal and fresh fruit and juices.
Buffet hours are Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Dinner is offered Wednesday through Saturday evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The weekend buffet costs $25 per person or $32 per person with unlimited prosecco. The children's price is $10 for ages 3 to 12.
"Farm-to-Table dining brings to our guests the freshest products available, with the most flavorful impact on the senses and highest possible nutritional value," Ryan Taliaferro, executive sous chef for Medici Cafe & Terrace, said in a statement.
Chris Hanmer, executive pastry chef for the Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas, has also unveiled a complementary dessert menu featuring chocolate flatbread and his own bombolleto, an Italian-style presentation of fresh-baked warm doughnut holes served family-style with a choice of three gelatos.
