The Venetian Resort Las Vegas will host a pair of hit Broadway musicals, "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "The Book of Mormon," later this year.
"Mrs. Doubtfire," based on the hit comedy film, is set for July 22 to 26 and July 30 to Aug. 2. "The Book of Mormon," a winner of nine Tony Awards -- including Best Musical -- is set for Nov. 4 to 15. Tickets are on sale now.
"(These) iconic shows have captivated audiences around the world, and presenting them in the Venetian Theatre is a powerful example of how we continue to redefine what world-class entertainment looks like in Las Vegas" said Patrick Nichols, president and chief executive officer of the resort.
The Venetian Theatre previously hosted "Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular" from 2006 to 2012. Wynn Las Vegas ("Avenue Q" and "Spamalot") and Luxor ("Mamma Mia") on the Strip have also previously hosted Broadway productions.
