The deep sea and Mardi Gras are among the themes of new frozen art throughout IceBar at the Linq Promemade this month.
Ice carvers will start with chainsaws and finish with precision ice-carving tools to construct new art displays Nov. 7 to 11. Each block of ice weighs 250 pounds and requires four workers to hoist into place.
Before arriving in Las Vegas, the ice was created using a special process that removes all air bubbles, ensuring the clearest ice possible.
IceBar is kept at 23-degrees Fahrenheit with a technologically advanced climate-control system that continuously adjusts to account for body heat or changes in humidity.
IceBar admits guests of all ages to see the art amid the cold. Cocktails served in glasses made of ice are available for guests age 21 and older.
