The Lodge at Denali Park Village is celebrating the National Park Service's Road Lottery at Denali National Park by offering discounted room rates from Sept. 15 to 19.
Each September, road lottery winners have the chance to purchase a single-day permit to drive as much of the Denali Park Road as weather allows. The road is typically closed to private vehicles. During years with early snow, the park road might close to lottery winners by the mile-15 mark near Savage River. In times of milder weather, some winners have journeyed to the end of the road at mile 92.
During the "Everyone's a Winner" special, all Denali Park Village guests can book a minimum two-night stay for $99 a night. That's more than 50% off the regular nightly rate of $209. The deal also coincides with the hotel's final nights of the 2017 season.
