The MGM Resorts NBA Summer League returns to Las Vegas Aug. 8 to 17, providing a showcase for the league's youngest players and those looking to land roster spots.
The 16th annual event, featuring all 30 NBA teams, will tip off at the Thomas & Mack Center and the Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
After every team plays four games, the two teams with the best records will meet for the championship on Aug. 17.
The event, canceled last year because of the pandemic, helps rookies begin the transition into professional basketball. It also gives free agents and other fringe players an opportunity to make an impression with executives, scouts and coaches.
Tickets, starting at $30 (plus tax and fees), may be purchased at UNLVTickets.com.
