The Neon Museum in downtown Las Vegas plans to reopen with new public health measures in place on May 22.
No-touch digital forehead thermometers will screen staff and guests, and the number of people admitted into the museum will be limited for social distancing. New protective equipment will be installed at the front desk; all staff will be provided with face masks and gloves; and frequently touched surfaces will be wiped down at least once an hour.
Three new versions of the Neon Museum's 25-minute nighttime projection-mapping spectacle, "Brilliant!" will be unveiled when the museum reopens. Distinct themes Wildest West, Atomic Tourism and Golden Age of Las Vegas will each incorporate different musical soundtracks and video footage.

Visitors will also be able to see the recently relamped and electrified Stardust sign, as well as four Tim Burton art works: the Lost Vegas Sign Tower, the Neon Wall Grid, the Betelgeuse sign and Guns 'N' Booze.
Tickets ($20 for general admission, and $23 for "Brilliant") are available on Neon Museum's website. Nevada residents will be offered a special $10 admission for a limited time. In the meantime, those interested can go to the museum's app and type the password "Neon" for a series of short audios with information about the most famous restored signs.
