The historical Ocean Course at the Breakers in Palm Beach has reopened following a renovation. The course, originally laid out in 1897 by Alexander Findlay and redesigned in 2000 by Brian Silva, was refreshed by golf architect Rees Jones to modernize and improve the playability of the course and to elevate the challenge for players while maintaining its character.

The new makeover includes new green complexes, new salt-tolerant grass in turf areas, upgraded irrigation, new water features and additional native landscaping. The John Webster Golf Academy building has more than doubled in size following the renovation, now featuring two teaching bays and a new putting studio.

The 18-hole course is a traditional complement to the modern Breakers Rees Jones Course, just 10 miles from the hotel.  Both courses are exclusive to guests and club members of the Breakers Palm Beach.
