Rio Hotel & Casino has refreshed its 117,000 square-foot casino floor and is offering more instant perks through its Rio Rewards players club.

Completing the latest step of its ongoing transformation, Rio has a new dedicated baccarat room with eight baccarat tables and two blackjack tables. The revamped casino space includes 800 of the latest slot machines and 40 table games.

"The newly reimagined casino floor represents an exciting milestone," said Grant Rogers, vice president of casino operations. "Our vision has always been to deliver a gaming experience that feels modern, approachable and rooted in value. With low table minimums, generous rewards and a vibrant atmosphere, we're bringing back the spirit of classic Vegas, refreshed for today's guest."

As a way to acknowledge the property's past, the iconic showgirl Rio Rita has returned to the casino floor. She interacts with guests from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

New value for members

Upon signing up, new Rio Rewards members can get up to $35 in FrioPlay and have the chance to win up to $1,000 in FrioPlay in their first 48 hours. Guests who earn 2,000 casino points in that window also receive two complimentary tickets to the Penn & Teller show, "Wow--The Vegas Spectacular" or the Comedy Cellar.

All Rio Rewards members now have free access to the Ipanema Beach Club Mondays through Thursdays. Higher-tier members get free weekend access.

Rio offers tier matching for new members who present an active player's card from any Las Vegas casino. Existing members can earn $50 in FrioPlay for referring a friend to become a member.
