The Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas is celebrating its 10th anniversary next month.

Among the upcoming events to help mark the occasion:

• A panel will discuss the museum's past and future on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. Speakers will include former Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman, a project proponent and current museum board member who as a lawyer defended several mob figures; Jeffrey Silver, a former prosecutor with the Clark County district attorney's office; historian Bob Stoldal; and Jonathan Ullman, the museum's president. Free with admission.

• In "The Massacre Tommy Guns: A Special Display of Historic Firearms," which will take place on Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., two Thompson submachine guns used by the perpetrators of the 1929 St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago will be displayed. Free with admission.

• Limited-edition, anniversary-branded bottles of moonshine from the museum's distillery will be available for purchase on Feb. 14 while supplies last. The 50-millilter (1.7-ounce) bottles of the 100-proof corn liquor are priced at $7.95; fewer than 500 of the bottles will be available for purchase. The bottle can be combined in a three-pack that features the Mob Museum's flavored moonshines, Ginger Jake and Cinn-City.

• A fundraising gala ($250) is set for Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. The evening will honor a number of undercover law enforcement agents, including Joseph D. Pistone, whose work resulted in more than 200 convictions infiltrating the Bonanno and Colombo crime families in New York during the 1970s. His story was the subject of a best-selling book and a feature film, "Donnie Brasco." Tickets for the event are $250.

All museum programs require registration.

The museum -- officially the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement -- has welcomed more than 3 million visitors since its opening on Feb. 14, 2012.
